Minnehaha Steamboat:
Initially this steamboat was used as a fleet of vessels. The Twin
City Rapid Transit Company manufactured it for the purpose of
serving new society around the lakeshore. The boats were designed
similar as streetcars. But with the automobiles coming as the
important means of transportation, popularity of the steamboat
started declining. After fifty four years, the Minnehaha make a came
back and sailed on her maiden voyage.
Spam Treat:
Spam is a special treat for non vegetarians in America. Hormel
Company’s plant produces this canned meat product in somewhere
around 1937. In fact, its commercial was among one of the first
aired commercials on TV. The First Century Museum was opened by
Hormel Foods on its 100th anniversary. Spam is the number one
product amongst the canned meat category. Spam has not lost its
popularity even a bit.
The Halloween Capital “Anoka”:
Anoka, Minnesota claims to be the “Halloween Capital of the World”.
Halloween for the first time was celebrated in the Anoka (1920), in
the United States. There was a weeklong celebration and the main aim
was taking the trick out of trick-or-treat. Many exciting
competitions are held during the

costumes and a pumpkin bake-off. The Grand Day Parade includes Mass
